Hall effect thumpsticks are great. Trigger adjustment makes triggers more like buttons instead of shorting the travel distance but I ended up liking this.

Nice controller just Abit too rumbly but I can turn that down myself but I'm lazy.

Honestly a fantastic controller for the price. It could use a little more weight for those who want it to “feel like quality” but honestly the lightness is a pro in my opinion. I can use this controller for hours and it just feels like an extension of my hands. Flawless connection and awesome trigger locks that provide a satisfying click. 10/10 controller highly recommend it for the price.

Great feel, and has held up quite well. Got over 100 hours put into the controller and it still feels as good as when it came out the box. No creaking, and triggers haven't worn out. Sticks dont feel loose or wobbly either. Programming it was simple too. The only things I would like to see is a on device way of knowing battery level. On charge or in use. Overall the feel is great and I can already tell this will be my PC daily driver for a long time. Goodbye launch ps5 controller, and happy hunting x20.

Face buttons are very clicky, which you may or may not be into. I personally prefer the more soft touch, but other than that, it's perfect

Overall feel to the hands is great. I love the clicky buttons, i love the sticks and the whole experience. My Comparison unit is the Xbox Elite Series 2. A controller double the price. The Smx is lighter and i found out i kinda missed the gripier handles of the elite series 2. I also deeply wish there was software support for the SMX. The way it works is fine on its own but i think that could be improved in the future. Overall i would grade an 8 out of 10 on the controller. Great price ,great feel and aesthetic. Love the RGB and button quality.

It's really good, I like it very much, but just slightly disappointed that the back buttons are not programmable to be other buttons, not the predefined controller buttons. Like you can program the to be A+B etc., but not to be unique buttons on their own. Still this is an amazing controller and I especially love that I can connect to my nintendo switch too (didnt know that and was pleasantly suprised). 8/10 Would very much reccomend for the price its amazing.

This may sound weird, but the only thing stopping me from making this review a 5-star is the dongle flashing constantly, even if the controller is off. Yes, I know I can unplug it, but that's inconvenient. Aside from that, the controller is perfect for every game I use it with.

The controller feels quite nice and the build quality is very good. There are a lot of features for the price like the trigger switches and paddles. It also has this sort of toggle feature which I don't personally use but can be neat for a sort of controller macro input. I'm also a sucker for RGB and it looks pretty good with some customizability built-in. The 2.4ghz dongle is easily my favorite feature but also the Bluetooth and wired connection is good to have. All in all, I'm quite pleased!

Works really well and the feel of the controller is super smooth! Latency is also not too bad either.

The controller offers a lot for the price and is packed with features. It doesn't feel premium as the X10, but I wouldn't say that it feels cheap. However the joysticks need a stronger magnet as they pop off frequently. Also, the bright LEDs that can't be turned off or dimmed (not the RGB) are extremely jarring and distracting when playing in a dark room. Addressing these concerns would make this controller perfect.

Easy recommend for the price. Beware of possible taxes and import tariffs. I luckily didnt get charged, but when importing it is a realistic possibility. When purchasing it is mentioned and the bottom, but i figured that out after i bought it and it was being shipped from China.

Really great controller, feels good, some of the options take a bit to figure out, but overall a very comfortable and easy to use setup. Battery life could be better.

The controller is really well built. I wish I had a different color choice, but it's not ugly or anything by any means, just some variety would be nice. Nearly everything on this controller is perfect, except for one HUGE con. The problem I have with this controller are the middle start/menu buttons. They are not positioned in a very helpful manner at all. I'm used to an XBOX controller where the start/menu buttons are more centered, but here on the X20, they are not the same. Instead there are programming buttons where the start/menu buttons should be and I end up pressing those by mistake CONSTANTLY. As such, I can't use this for my daily controller and I also can't use it as a competitive controller at all. This is a huge let down. These buttons instead of non-usable rapid fire toggle for other buttons and maybe programming the rear buttons? This should be an App function and these buttons should just be programmable (and usable as start/menu buttons) but they cannot be used as normal buttons. If there's a way to change this, I'd make this 5 stars easily as this is the best XBOX style controller out there.

Joystick feels real good on the hands and buttons are great. If I can neat pick and that will be only one thing it's the back of the joystick where the light goes through the plastic around the usb c port. Because on the first experience it give a little bit of cheap vibe BUT then again for this price joystick is superb and I will recommend it to my friends. All the best, Mladen

Overall kind of meh. The back buttons kept getting stuck and eventually the back m1 button completely broke from the chassis.

Love the trigger and button feel. It’s incredibly responsive and the controls feel tight!

The triggers and sticks are awesome but, no software make it so additional buttons might as well be useless.

I really like the controller and all it's features, though my controller has 2 small defects, I've reached out to the support team regarding this and while I had an initial response I have no heard from the support team since.

The controller is really good. I like its design, the buttons and the general feeling when playing. However there are a few problems i would like to point out: -Some lights shine through the plastic of the controller (near the front, where the usb-c connection is). -I wish i could use the Controller in NS mode via the Usb-Stick (wireless). Instead i had to buy a seperate bluetooth stick for my PC, so i was able to connect the controller in NS mode via Bluetooth -the D-Pad feels a little weird sometimes. Spamming a button especially (for example when navigating inside an inventory with the D-Pad. Probably non-mechanical switches for the Pad would feel better/different

Love this controller! Latency is barely noticeable on 2.4GHz to me, also tried it on USB, cable that comes with it is long enough. Played a bit of MK1 and the D pad is great. X Y A B feel quite elegant and nice to press on. And last but not least, It's freakin awesome to have the lighting so nice but also to be able do disable it if you're playing in the dark. Overall an excellent controller worth every second of the wait.

Great controller - would like to have a clearer indicator for battery levels.

First off, the PROS: * The controller feels great in my hands. I love the subtle texturing that makes it easy to grip without being grabby. * The hall effect sticks are precise and accurate and I anticipate they will provide many years of drift free service. I haven't used the hall effect triggers, as the games I usually play use the triggers more as switches, so the ability to switch from analog triggers to short throw mechanical trigger switches is great for me; and, as all of the other buttons (including the D-pad) are mechanical switches, they provide a nice feel. * One mildly surprising benefit is that the analog stick buttons are surprisingly resistant to accidental presses. I have a tendency to accidentally push the stick buttons while moving (especially during frenetic action games) which can sometimes be a pain. I don’t think I've accidentally pushed the stick buttons on this controller yet, so kudos there. * The RGB LED lighting is cool ;-) * I like the fact that no additional app on the host is required to utilize any of the bonus features (the macro paddles on the back, the turbo function, the lighting effects, etc.). Now, the CONS; * I wish the buttons were a bit more clicky. Despite the fact that they are mechanical switches, I find them to be surprisingly mushy during gameplay. * The back paddles are easy to accidentally press (which isn't a problem if they're not bound). * The lack of an app means that you can't set up button profiles for different games, so if you want to use the macro paddles on different games, you have to remap them (or remember how they are mapped and adjust the controller mapping in the game) every time you switch games. If you're like me and only play one game at a time, it's not a big deal; but, if you like to play multiple games and switch between them frequently, it could be a pain. FINAL THOUGHTS: Overall, the pros greatly outweigh the cons in my opinion (hence the four-star rating). The biggest con in my opinion is the mushiness of the buttons. I really wish they had a more tactile feel. In fact, if they were more clicky, this would be a five-star controller for me. One other item that someone else pointed out (and isn't enough of an issue to be a CON) is the system button placement. The START and MENU/SELECT buttons are not where I'm used to finding them, so it's easy to instinctively reach for one of them and get no response because you hit one of the controller control buttons (programming or turbo). It's not necessarily bad, just different, and something to be aware of. This controller is a great value for the price, punches well above its weight class, and is definitely worth considering if you want a reliable, accurate, comfortable, precision controller with plenty of options, and don't mind some minor quirks.

Works and feels great

This is a fantastic controller, absolutely worth your money. My only complaint is the placement of the start and select buttons. There's a C button and a Square button where my thumbs naturally go to hit those buttons, then the actual start and select are higher and further out from the center.

Everything is great. Only thing I would change would be the thumbsticks. A bit too rough, might get some padding.

I've purchased about every pro controller out there. In my opinion the X20 is simply the best controller I have used. recently purchased a second one to use on xbox with an adapter. my only wish is that easy smx would make an xbox license version. if you're on the fence about buying this controller trust me doesn't get any better than the X20 controller..

The controller is a bit light, yes, but the build quality and customization options far outweigh that negative.

Love the controller. The only issue I have is that the button mapping is not that seamless. I would prefer a software mapping tool instead of pressing multiple buttons to enable mapping. It can be quite confusing at times.

Feels amazing to use compared to first party xbox controller. Buttons all have a satisfying click. Back buttons are easy to access without risking misclicks. Trigger locks are invaluable and easy to switch on and off. Only a couple small gripes. The thumb sticks come off too easy, the manual does a really bad job explaining how to program the back buttons, and finally i wish the blue LED on the receiver would turn off when you shut down the pc. Having my pc in my bedroom means that the flashing blue LED can be a little annoying when trying to sleep.
